If you've got plans for Valentine's day, this is an easy look to re-create. Anything scalloped always gives me the heart eyes so, I obviously love this top. It ties around the neck, runs true to size. I'm wearing a medium. Nude heels are always a good go-to. They go with just about anything. I like the way they look paired with this light wash denim.
This past weekend was a wild one for us Jersedelphians! The Philadelphia Eagles WON the Super Bowl! (First Super Bowl win, ever!) Growing up, and always living 30 minutes from Philly, the Eagles have always been my team! When I was a little girl, my mom's little sister (My Auntie!) was a Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader for 3 years. So, when she came to visit my cheerleading team to sign autographs and hand out her trader cards, that obviously made me the COOLEST kid in elementary school. I had the aunt aunt, that had killer, hair flipping' dance moves. I looked up to her so much (and still do!) It was then that I became a lover of the Philadelphia Eagles. I was surrounded by family and friends, while eating delicious grub, with my booty parked right on the couch for the entire 4 quarters of the game, and it ended with a win. Pure joy filled the room. Dave's dad was actually in tears he was so freakin' happy. It was a great day. The celebration continues today in the city, where there is an Eagles parade going on. I'm actually currently watching it all go down on the news. Haha, my day in the salon isn't vey busy today, as there are 4 million humans out there (in the freezing cold) celebrating the win! Dave is one of those 4 million. Haha, crazy kid.
Are y'all doing anything for Valentine's Day? I'd love to hear about it! Honestly, I've never been big on V Day at all, ever. Actually, in the past, I've been a complete hater of it all. But this year, I'm getting into it! Feelin' a little sappy, and a little corny, but I don't even care! I'm gonna enjoy a weekend with my boo and blame all the fun on this "holiday". Dave and I both work on actual Valentine's Day. So, we're going to celebrate this upcoming weekend. As of now, our plans are to head to Philly for a dinner date, then head to the ice rink outside at Penns Landing Pier and then we got a room in the city! We'll end our little adventure with a sweet breakfast. That's kind of our thing. We both always have off Sunday and Monday, so we almost always go out for breakfast those days. Unfortunately, the forecast is calling for rain so ice skating outside might be out of the question, so we shall see!!
Tell me about your plans!! :)
