Hope y'all are having a great week. This look is one of my favorites and I'm so excited to share it with you. Bell sleeves rock my world and bows on shoes! What a hit! Ha, who woulda thunk?!
I haven't blogged since before the long weekend, so I didn't get to hear about everyone's holiday! Last week, up until this past weekend, I was so slammed with work. Whenever a holiday is coming up, the salon is 10x busier than usual. At one point, I had 4 girls in at once. I had one girl processing under the dryer, one girl at the sink with a toner on her head, the other with a conditioning treatment waiting to be rinsed, while the fourth was in my chair as I was finishing up her full head of blondie highlights. After the long work week, I had to work a bridal event. Needless to say, I have very much enjoyed my few days off and loved spending time with my family. Work is great on so many levels. But a break from time to time to reboot is always appreciated.
On Easter, I went to church with the fam and then to my Pops house. MomMom and Pop are some very Italian folks. So, it goes without being said that our meals over there are hands down, some of the best meals I've ever had. Eat until you're stuffed to the gills and then some! Because even if you say you're no longer hungry, Pop will harass you to fill your plate back up. And believe me, there is MORE than enough for seconds, thirds and even fourths. Auntie and I hid some eggs outside for a good 'ol traditional Easter egg hunt for the kiddies to enjoy after dinner. It was fun. And absolutely beautiful outside. I think this was the first Easter in about 4 years that it was warm out!
I hope y'all had a great Easter. What did y'all do?! I'd love to hear about it!
