The Sunday of Labor day weekend, my honey and I were guests to a wedding. Our friends, Jen and Max got married outside under the sunshine, on the day a tropical storm, was about to hit, but fortunately for everyone, it turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous day and the weather men were so wrong! There was a breeze, there were smiling souls, warm hearts and so much love. It was absolutely beautiful. The reception was nothing less than a party and I loved every minute of it. Both Jen and Max know how to have a good time, and that's exactly what they showed us that evening.
As many of you know, I am a hairstylist/makeup artist. Sweet Jen asked me to be her stylist on the day of the wedding, and I was so happy to be a part of that. I was welcomed into her bridal suite, early in the morning, along with the rest of her bridal party, mother of the bride, grandmother, and close relatives. I helped the ladies get ready for the big day, and I was so thankful to be there. Weddings are my favorite thing to do as a cosmetologist. It is such a happy day. I feel so blessed to be there, behind the scenes, helping pull it altogether. On a bride's wedding day, she wants (and deserves) to look like a princess. I love making that happen!
Also, it wouldn't be a wedding celebration if there weren't snapchats all night, right?! I had to throw in a few from the story. Pictured here, are two of our best friends, Jen (different from the Jen who got married) and Joe. And then of course, my sweetheart, Art. Jen and Joe recently got engaged too, so they're next! :D
My custom monogram necklace by Julia Marie goes with anything and everything. How pretty does it look against this dress?! My red heels were a total hit, and I danced in them (almost) all night.
